Maybe it’s the dreary weather we’ve been having that is causing my mind to question “why”.
- Why don’t the sandwiches that I order from Wendy’s or McDonald’s look as good as they do on TV? The ones that they actually sell are all smushed together like someone sat on them. The tomato and pickles aren’t spread out uniformly and the meat is sliding out of the bun. Can I buy the sandwich that they advertise???
- Why do the people that work at the grocery deli always include the piece of paper that they use to lay on the weight scales? I mean, if the piece of paper is intended to keep the meat clean from the scale top, then why do I want that germy paper placed into the little plastic bag along with the meat or cheese????
- Have you ever seen the fast food person handle money with the latex gloves on then proceed to wrap up your food and put it into the bag? Would it be a problem if I asked them to either handle money or handle food … not both!
- Why aren’t dogs (like little Murph) allowed in retail stores, but babies with dirty diapers, toddlers with runny noses or 4-yr olds with the screamin-meamies are? I propose that Murphy carries fewer harmful germs and bacteria than most kids, and he doesn’t throw tantrums when we shop at the pet store – where he’s allowed.
- Why do retail stores place their clothing racks so close together that it’s nearly impossible to squeeze between them, let alone when one is carrying packages and a purse? Can you tell I absolutely hate to shop!!
- Why do people who drive 15 mph UNDER the speed limit always decide to drive in the left lane?
- Why does the cell phone always ring as soon as I apply the shampoo once I’m in the shower?
- Why does the person who says “long-story-short” never tell a short story after saying that?

Let’s see, why do people slow DOWN going up a steep hill on icy or snowy roads? No one taught them that in driving school!
Why are the commercials so much louder than the movie or show I am watching?
And you would have to mention the peice of paper on the cheese. geeze I never even thought of that but now! LOL
I hear ya on the commercials! Really aggravating.
Steep hills aren’t much of a problem here. I can only think of two. I decided today would be a good day to work from home and not risk some crazy person hitting my Jeep.
I am laughing too hard to add anything but thanks for the “laugh therapy” for today – loved it! – Cyndee Haydon
Cyndee – it’s probably hard to be negative when you live on the gulf in the Sunshine State!
Here it’s a rite of passage from Dec to Mar. By Feb, people are downright nasty with cabin fever – as we call it here.
