An agent in Connecticut has accumulated ‘bad MLS’ photos on his blog that were sent to him by other agents from all around the country. As agents, we come across photos like these all the time as we’re searching homes for our buyers. Unbelievably the photos were used by listing agents in the MLS system to TRY to sell the home. While the photos are very funny, many of the comments added by the blog’s author are even funnier.
So, sit back, and scroll through his pages for a really good chuckle.
Let this be a lesson on why I keep saying that sellers should check the quality of photos of any agent they are considering hiring to list their home. Otherwise, your home may end up on his “bad” list.

Hi there! Thanks so much for the link love, I appreciate it.
I’m also stunned that sellers, who have so much interest tied up in their house, let agents get away with bad photos.
Learn how to take good photos, or pay someone who can. Pick one!

Thanks for stopping by. I found your site thanks to Craig Schiller’s post on AR. I was in stitches with some of your comments! It would be hard to pick my favorite, but the guy with the house arrest ankle bracelet is right up there on top.

I love the fact that someone is drawing attention to how horrid some of the photos can be - I am glad none of them are mine.

Ha, Thesa, I checked to make sure none of mine were there either.

Hi Elaine! I was cruising the MLS today looking for answers for a client about homes in a certain price range (high) and in a certain neighborhood. I could not get over how many of these homes did not even HAVE photos! Not good! I like Athol’s site it makes me laugh although when you get right down to it it’s frustrating!

Carole, I had tears in my eyes from laughing, mostly at Athol’s comments, but also the photos. As I told Craig S. I would LOVE to collect bad ones, but in reality it’s a copyright violation so I haven’t done it. But it is so-o-o tempting because some are so-o-o BAD!
No-photos is absolutely inexcusable in this day of digital cameras. I just don’t get it.
