If you’ve seen the re-routed road construction near the entrance to the Columbus Zoo or the exit on Powell Rd and wondered what is happening, here’s your chance to hear the official word.
On July 26, 2007, there will be a luncheon at the Powell City Hall Meeting Room between 11:30-1:00. At the lunch, Gerald Borin, Executive Director of the zoo, will be presenting info on the expansion, the new water park, amusement park, modifications to the Safari golf course, the African Savanna and the rerouting of Powell Rd.
There is a$15 fee for the luncheon which is open to the public. Reservations should be made to The Greater Powell Area Chamber of Commerce by July 20. Call 614-888-1090.
